About
Stephen is an architect.
He received a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Oregon in 2015 and also studied at the Institute for Computational Design and Construction (ICD) as a visiting student. While there, he contributed to the construction of the 2013/2014 Research Pavilion and played a key role in the design of the 2014 Leichtbau BW Installation.
Since September 2020, he has practiced at CO Architects working on the UCI Medical Center in Irvine, CA. His focus has been on the exterior envelope design, documentation, and construction coordination. Also with CO, he is the Project Architect for a new hospital in Oregon.
Stephen was previously the Project Architect for Speranza Architecture + Urban Design. Prior to joining SA+UD, Stephen was the Studio Design Computation Leader at NBBJ's Columbus, Ohio office. He has also worked for Office of Architecture in Brooklyn, NY.
He has been a studio instructor and a guest critic at the University of Oregon School of Architecture & Environment and The Ohio State University Knowlton School of Architecture.
Stephen is an active American Institute of Architects (AIA) member and is a Registered Architect in the State of Oregon.
